Who are we?

Oxelbergsskolan is a single-grade F–6 school located in a quiet area just outside the city center of Norrköping. In our operations, we have 24 employees working with our approximately 190 students. We work from a salutogenic and relational perspective and build trusting relationships with our students. At our school, we work with low affective demands, building on the student's strengths and abilities, and giving students opportunities and space to develop.

The school has its own craft room, gymnasium, and art room, and due to our geographical location, we also have access to a swimming hall, library, and other fun activities for the students.

We are a dedicated group of teachers, leisure center staff, and student health personnel who collaborate closely to give every student the best possible start in school life.

Your responsibilities

As a teacher for grades Pre-K to 3, you are an important person in the students' daily lives – sometimes a super-pedagogue, sometimes a conflict manager, sometimes a secure adult with a band-aid in your pocket. You plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching according to the school's steering documents, and create a clear, secure, and inspiring learning environment.

You will among other things:

• Teach in the early years of primary school grades 1–3, with responsibility for your own class in close collaboration with a colleague
• Plan teaching that is individualized and inclusive
• Work closely with colleagues in work teams and leisure centers for a holistic approach to the students' day
• Maintain close contact with guardians and contribute to good school-home relationships
• Participate in development work regarding teaching, safety, and study environment

Who are you?

You are a certified teacher with eligibility for teaching in grades 1–3 and preferably experience in pedagogical work, for example in school or leisure centers.

We see that you:

• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Are well-versed in the school's steering documents and work with them in a structured manner
• Enjoy collaboration, are unpretentious, and are happy to share ideas
• Are secure, clear, and relationship-building in meetings with students and guardians
