About the role and responsibilities

As an economic case worker here, you work in close collaboration with social secretaries in the processing of ongoing applications for social assistance according to the Social Services Act.

The assignment includes performing checks, making calculations and monthly payments of social assistance, as well as collaborating with other authorities internally and externally. You have regular contact with clients by phone and via messages.

We are looking for you

We are looking for you who have completed upper secondary education and are driven by being an administrative support function. You need to have previous experience of administrative tasks, preferably where it has included contact with clients and users. Experience of working with public authority decision-making is a requirement. We see that you have good administrative skills, including experience of computer-based work. You are a person who enjoys working in a team in collaboration with others and has a good sense of service.

About the workplace

At the Employment and Social Assistance Unit, social secretaries, labor market consultants and economic case workers work together. We investigate and process social assistance and work actively for the individual's path to self-sufficiency. The unit is divided into teams that work towards different target groups. The teams are self-governing and very creative. We offer flextime and subsidized fitness. Possibility of holiday exchange exists. We work in the Lund City Hall Kristallen based on activity-based working methods.
