The primary school/special needs primary school operation is part of the Education Administration. The operation covers 21 primary schools as well as special needs primary school, with a total of approximately 4,500 students. Four of the primary schools are upper secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The operation also includes after-school centers.

Zederslundsskolan is a grades 7-9 school in central Motala with easy access to public transport. Our school philosophy:

Approximately 300 students attend the school, with 4 classes per grade. During the school day, students are often divided into different teaching groups in core subjects and modern languages, for example. We have a high proportion of qualified teachers and work in work teams and subject teams for the students' development towards higher goal fulfillment. In recent years, the school has worked with school development in collaboration with the Swedish National Agency for Education to improve teaching. Being employed at Zederslundsskolan means that you are involved in building a new school culture together with staff who have previously worked at two different schools. The classrooms are well-equipped with projectors and, in some cases, smartboards. Students have one-to-one loan computers and work with TEAMS as a learning platform. Student democracy is important at the school, with a well-developed student council and class council.

DUTIES
Standard duties as a teacher with planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching. You will work on the schedule for a teacher who works 50% and cover the remaining part on the teacher lift. This likely means teaching every day.

QUALIFICATIONS
Formal competencies:

• Teacher certification for grades 7-9 with eligibility to teach in the subjects Mathematics, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry.

Personal competencies:

• You are confident in yourself, stand up for your opinions, and have the courage to speak out when necessary. You have the ability to distinguish between facts and personality and can feel secure even in uncertain situations.
• You take active initiative in social situations, step forward, and find it easy to create and maintain new relationships.
• You have a good understanding of how humans acquire knowledge and of people's different prerequisites. You adapt your way of conveying your message to the recipient.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Working hours: Working hours Monday to Friday. 17.5 hours of workplace-based time according to holiday employment.
