We are looking for you to work as a personal assistant to a little girl of approximately 10 months old. The child lives with her parents in a calm and welcoming home. The family is open, cooperative, and values a good working atmosphere for those who work there. The workplace is located in Sjulsmark, approximately a 25-minute drive from Piteå.

About the assignment

The assignment is medically complex and requires 24/7 supervision. For medical reasons, you will always work as two assistants together — you are never solely responsible. The work takes place in the girl's home and follows the family's daily routine.

Your main tasks include monitoring the girl's breathing, managing the tracheostomy tube, performing suctioning, administering inhalations, and providing nutrition via a feeding tube. These are specialized tasks that require focus, precision, and sustained attention throughout the entire shift.

You will receive full training in all medical procedures and ongoing education during the assignment. Previous medical experience is not a requirement — we train the right person.

The personal chemistry between you, the child, and the family is crucial, so we place great emphasis on who you are as a person. We are looking for someone who sees personal assistance as a profession and approaches the assignment with empathy and professional care.

You are calm, observant, and confident in your professional role. You are accustomed to working in someone else's home and understand the importance of respecting the family's routines, privacy, and role in the child's life. You take initiative in your role and collaborate closely with both colleagues and the family.

Requirements

• The family prefers the assistant to be female
• You do not smoke (residue from smoke on clothes and hair can affect the child's breathing)
• You have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written

Since the workplace is located approximately a 30-minute drive from central Luleå, in an area with limited bus connections, applicants must have a driver's license and access to a car to commute to and from work reliably.

About the employment

Working hours vary between day, evening, and night according to a schedule. Start date is by agreement.
