Since spring 2021, the operations within care and social services have been organized in a wholly municipal-owned company, Omsorg i Bjuv AB, which, on behalf of the administration, is to work health-promoting and preventive so that residents who need our interventions can live a dignified life and feel well-being.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a support assistant, you work closely with the users in their daily lives, based on the individual's prerequisites, needs, and wishes. The work aims to strengthen independence, participation, security, and quality of life. The operations actively work for a good balance of activities where physical activity is present, so it is an advantage if you have an interest in outdoor life or experience of nature-supporting activities.

We work by following established implementation plans and job descriptions, as well as documenting according to current legislation and guidelines. We work according to pedagogical methods and common approaches to achieve our common goals.

The position is full-time and includes day, evening, night, and weekend shifts, and also includes resource passes.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

• Are educated as a support assistant, assistant nurse, or childcare worker
• Have experience supporting people with mental disabilities, such as schizophrenia, psychosis, anxiety, or other psychiatric diagnoses
• Have experience working with people with autism and intellectual disabilities within the LSS framework
• Have good knowledge of low-affective handling, clarifying pedagogy, and individualized support
• Have experience working with people within the LSS framework
• Master Swedish in both speech and writing
• Have a manual driver's license
