About Us

We are now expanding the team at Fabrik38

Fabrik38 is a youth activity center for older teenagers aged 16–19. We have nice premises at Hagalundsgatan 38A. At Fabrik 38, there is a music rehearsal space, a dance room, a music project studio, and a flexible/project room for creative activities such as screen printing, sewing, etc. We have two driving simulators for practice driving, a cozy lounge with a stage and sales area. Young people have the opportunity to borrow film equipment and edit films. There is also billiards, table tennis, VR games, and much more fun.

In the immediate vicinity, there is a spontaneous sports area with a football pitch, a street basketball court, and a small outdoor gym.

What does the job involve?

• Leader in open youth activities.
• Develop and drive conscious activities based on young people's wishes and needs.
• Work with place activation in the immediate area.
• Certain outreach activities, especially towards schools.
• Collaborate with other actors, e.g., other leisure facilities in Solna, associations, and organizations.
• Take own responsibility for planning, implementation, and evaluation of activities.
• Have the ability to see potential in all young people and believe in their process.
• Work inclusively and from a diversity perspective.
• Work with a promoting perspective.
• Run café operations.

The position includes evening and weekend work: 3 weekday evenings/week and every other Friday–Saturday. Shifts usually start at 13:00 (17:30 on Saturdays).

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who:

• are trained as a youth leader or have other relevant education/background.
• have experience of youth work from teenage activities.
• understand the significance of leisure methodology for the development of children and young people.
• have a pedagogical approach.
• have knowledge of arranging different types of activities.

We consider it meritorious if you:

• have experience of collaboration with different parties.
• have experience of including young people with functional variations.
• have own interests that create added value for the activity.
• have knowledge of a norm-critical approach.

We are looking for you who have an interest in making a difference in young people's daily lives. As a person, you are creative, solution-oriented, and have a pedagogical approach. In the role of youth leader, you are secure and structured and have the ability to plan and organize your work. You have a good attitude and a natural ability to build good relationships. Furthermore, you enjoy working together with others.
