Do you want to lead production forward and make a difference every day at our factory in Fågelmara?

We are now looking for a Production Manager who wants to take responsibility for leading, developing, and optimizing production in our operations in Fågelmara. In this role, you will combine operational leadership with improvement work, a focus on working environment, and clear result accountability. You will become a key person in the work of creating a safe, efficient, and quality-focused production together with engaged colleagues.

About the role

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, helping individuals grow, and leading your employees with great will, presence, and engagement to achieve the company's expected results. As a Production Manager, you create good conditions for your employees to develop and succeed, while driving improvement work and ensuring high quality in operations.

You lead the work within your area and ensure that we move in the right direction – both here and now and in the long term. This involves everything from working environment, quality, and delivery to creating the right conditions for the team to succeed. You report to the Production Director and collaborate closely with both employees and other functions in the business.

What you will have the opportunity to work with:

• Lead and develop daily production work with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Collaborate with management regarding technology, priorities, and investments.
• Plan and monitor staffing, capacity, and production output within your area.
• Drive systematic working environment work and work proactively with health and safety.
• Ensure that quality and environmental work is conducted according to laws, regulations, and internal requirements.
• Work actively with continuous improvements and contribute to development through Orkla's improvement methodology OPS.
• Coach, support, and develop employees through clear leadership, development plans, and employee conversations.
• Participate in and, if necessary, lead projects related to business development, technology, and growth.
• Monitor results, report in business systems, and work systematically with deviations and improvement measures.

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience in production.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing and application of quality systems and standards.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Preferably experience from the food industry.
• Knowledge of improvement methodology, e.g., OPS.
• Good skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
• Experience in development projects/organization and change management.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who fundamentally has a relevant education in technology, organization, or equivalent experience that we assess as equal, and has experience in personnel management within manufacturing industry. In your previous roles, you have preferably had responsibility for economic control against budget and other targets.

You are a person who likes to develop both working methods and people. You communicate clearly, build engagement in the team, and thrive when you get to combine the operational with improvement work. If you also have a grip on business management and production technology, you will quickly feel at home with us.

Last but not least, it will be an advantage if you have general production technology knowledge and a good understanding of business management, and if you master Swedish very well and have good knowledge of English.
