What we offer

Micropol Fiberoptic is in an exciting growth phase where we are broadening our product portfolio and accelerating our international expansion. By the end of 2026, we will take the next step in our development by moving to a new headquarters and a modern production facility in Halmstad.

In the role of Team Leader, you lead and develop the daily operations within your area of responsibility. Together with other team leaders, you create the conditions for production to meet its goals, while working closely with both employees and support functions to drive the business forward.

The role has a clear operational focus where you are responsible for the daily operations within your area, while also acting as a key link between production and production-related support functions such as planning, production technology, and preparation. You report directly to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with production-related support functions to create good conditions for operations
  • Follow up on, handle, and drive actions related to deviations, improvement proposals, and development initiatives
  • Promote a safe, engaging, and developmental work environment

To thrive and succeed in this role, you are a secure and engaged leader who takes responsibility and drives the work forward. You have a structured approach to work, good organizational skills, and a natural focus on results and improvements.

You are communicative and have an easy time building trusting relationships with both employees and colleagues. Furthermore, you are flexible and have the ability to prioritize and handle several parallel tasks in a changing and dynamic production environment.

We are looking for someone who has

  • Documented experience of leadership in manufacturing operations
  • Good understanding of occupational health and safety work and experience working systematically with workplace safety issues
  • Experience in personnel management, such as employee interviews, rehabilitation cases, and competence development
  • Good ability to plan, prioritize, and lead daily operations towards set goals
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
