Job Responsibilities

We are expanding Flexet with four new positions! We work on behalf of the social services, guided by a systemic perspective where holistic and family viewpoints are crucial for achieving change. The target group consists of youths and young adults aged 10-18 who have been granted outpatient care contacts due to norm-breaking or socially destructive behaviors, such as explosiveness, lack of daily routines and structures, or being at risk of criminality. In this role, you often act as the "spider in the web," maintaining contact with the youth, their parents, and their broader network. The work requires creating predictability and structure within the youth's environments, building alliances with the youths and their networks, and conducting consistent network and motivational work. You need to be flexible in your approach, meet challenges positively, be adaptable, and have the ability to find creative solutions.

Flexibility regarding working hours is also important, as evening work occurs based on the youths' needs. The role may also involve rotating on-call duty within the work group.

The work is scheduled for afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• An education such as a Bachelor of Social Work (socionom), social pedagogue, behavioral scientist, or another education deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Experience in psychosocial change work with the target group of youths.
• Good knowledge of current legislation (e.g., Social Services Act (SoL), Care of Young Persons Act (LVU), Out-of-Home Care Act (OSL)).
• Very good verbal and written communication skills.

The following are considered meritorious for the position:

• Education and/or practical experience in influence programs, methods, and treatment interventions with a solution-oriented approach, preferably focused on the youth target group.
• Experience of collaboration with schools and other authorities.
• Experience in network work, quality work, and work with interpreters.
• Knowledge of change-oriented work methods directed at the target group, such as MI (Motivational Interviewing), Solution-Focused, and KSL.
• Documentation experience in Journal Digital, Procapita, or similar systems.
• Experience working in residential care facilities (HVB), institutions, outreach work, or intensive outpatient treatment.
• Language skills in languages other than Swedish.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

We are seeking a relationship-building person with good collaboration skills, who can build trust with youths, families, colleagues, and partners. You show engagement, understanding, and respect for others, while clearly expressing your own thoughts and ideas. Good communication and collaboration are seen as decisive for success in the work.

You work in a structured and goal-oriented manner, following guidelines and timeframes, but are simultaneously flexible and see changes as opportunities. New challenges motivate you, and you adapt smoothly to varying work methods and hours as needed.

It is an advantage if you have the ability to create networks and support youths in finding long-term and developmental contexts within leisure activities, school, or other activities.

Personal suitability is highly valued, particularly flexibility, clarity, and collaboration skills.

About the Workplace

Flexet is an outpatient care operation within the Employment and Social Administration, organized within IFO Insats, unit Plattform Malmö, support and treatment.

The section consists of a section manager, a coordinator, and 13 therapists.
