At St. Petri School, we are looking for a teacher for instruction in Swedish and Religion. This position is a fixed-term contract (substitute) from 2026-08-10 to 2027-06-24 with a workload of 40%. Work with us and help shape the future of the people of Malmö and society!
Job Description
As a teacher, you work to ensure that students develop their full potential – both academically and socially. You support, motivate, and stimulate each student to meet the knowledge requirements based on their individual prerequisites. Your duties include planning, teaching, and assessment, as well as evaluating and developing the pedagogical operations in accordance with the school's governing documents.
We are a learning organization that promotes knowledge exchange, where you find yourself in an environment characterized by collegial learning and development. Together with colleagues, you work to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff. You also contribute to the quality and development work at the school.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Teaching certification (Lärarlegitimation)
- Eligibility to teach Swedish and Religion at the upper secondary level
- Experience using digital tools for communication and pedagogy
- Good understanding of the school's goals and governing documents
- Excellent proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Merits:

- Experience teaching Swedish and Religion
- Experience in other teaching or pedagogical work.

Furthermore, you contribute to good collaborations and communicate openly, clearly, and listen attentively to your surroundings. You also understand how students' backgrounds, culture, and group affiliation affect learning, and you create an inclusive learning environment where all students have the opportunity to succeed.
