About the Workplace

Ljungbyhed School is located approximately 12 km from the center of Klippan in a beautiful natural area with the forest and Rönneå as its closest neighbors. We are a grades F-9 school with approximately 390 students in total, including an after-school center for about 100 students. Responsibilities

As a teacher of Mathematics and Natural Sciences for grades 7-9 at Ljungbyhed School, you have an important and developmental role where you are responsible for planning, conducting, and evaluating high-quality teaching that stimulates students' curiosity and understanding of the world around them. You translate theory into practice through laboratory work and adapt your pedagogy so that it is both understandable and engaging for the students. The role includes mentorship, where you support students' knowledge-based and personal development through secure, clear, and relationship-building leadership. You help us build a non-hierarchical and cohesive team where collaboration, collegial exchange, and a shared commitment to students' goal achievement and well-being are at the center.

Qualifications

You are a certified teacher in Mathematics and Natural Sciences for grades 7-9 and have a good ability to translate curriculum goals into clear and engaging teaching. You are a secure role model with strong, relationship-building leadership in the classroom, and you have a good understanding of adolescent development. The role requires you to have strong pedagogical and didactic skills, as well as the ability to adapt your teaching to meet each student's unique prerequisites and needs. Furthermore, you are a team player with good collaboration skills who values collegial exchange. You communicate fluently in spoken and written Swedish to professionally interact with students, colleagues, and guardians, and you are proficient in digital technology.
