to apply for the job
We are now looking for several assistants for one of our female clients in her younger middle age, who lives with her husband in Trelleborg. The husband acts as the coordinator in the group.
With us, you become part of a well-functioning work group with a big heart, lots of humor, and an open atmosphere where the ceiling is high and laughter is close at hand. You work independently together with the client, while you jointly create a safe, warm, and positive everyday life.
It is important that you are comfortable with the fact that the client and her husband are your supervisors, and that you always base your work on the client's needs, wishes, and privacy.
About you
We are looking for someone who is flexible, responsive, and self-assured. You have genuine commitment, a warm approach, and great patience. You are humble regarding the task and have the ability to wait, listen, and always check in with what the client wants. No prior professional knowledge is required, as the greatest emphasis is placed on personal chemistry and your willingness to help the client.
You contribute positive energy and thrive in an environment where cooperation, respect, and humor are a natural part of everyday life.
About the job
The client uses a wheelchair and needs support in all parts of daily life (ADL). All transfers are done manually. You will also assist with medication, where the client herself controls when and how help is given.
The client enjoys traveling and takes a few trips per year, so it is important that you feel comfortable accompanying her on these.
The shifts are 24-hour shifts (22:00–22:00) with a service degree of 60–90%. The schedule is flexible based on the client's needs, but the service degree is fixed.
Important information about the client's health
The client has a rare chronic lung disease, severe asthma, and scent sensitivity, which means a very high susceptibility to infection. This places high demands on you as an assistant and your living situation.
For the work to function, the following is required:
Your household must be completely:
- Animal-free
- Smoke- and tobacco-free
This means, among other things, that you must not have contact with animals 48 hours before your work shift.
You as an assistant must be completely:
- Free of perfume and makeup
This means that you do not use perfume, makeup, or other products with strong scents, either during working hours or 24 hours before your work shift.
Qualifications
With regard to the client's health
- Animal-free, smoke- and tobacco-free living situation
- Free of perfume and makeup
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Other qualifications
Female applicants only.
Application process
The client reviews all applications carefully together with her husband, who is the coordinator. If your profile seems relevant, the coordinator or HR manager may contact you for an initial dialogue. When the coordinator contacts you, he will use his private email address. The client and her husband will place great emphasis on personal chemistry. We may request an extract from your criminal record.
