CULTURE AND ASSOCIATIONS ADMINISTRATION

The Culture and Associations Administration is a new department reporting directly to the Culture and Associations Committee. The administration is responsible for libraries, general culture, art hall, swimming facilities, music school, citizen services, sports and leisure activities, and tourism. Our goal is to offer all municipal residents a rich and varied cultural and leisure offering, based on the needs and wishes of our citizens.

DUTIES

The work as a youth leader within "Ung i Staffanstorp" (Youth in Staffanstorp) is carried out in accordance with the operational mandate for open leisure activities in Staffanstorp. Your role involves contact and collaboration with schools, associations, other municipal operations, and relevant external actors to offer a broad range of activities for as many people as possible within the target group.

The daily work primarily involves meeting the target group: all young people aged 10–17. Your task is to carry out the work together with the young people, striving for as high participation and influence as possible. You do this, among other things, by:

• Working to capture young people's interests and driving forces
• Building relationships
• Supporting young people's self-organization through coaching and advice.
• Collaborating with other parts of the municipality as well as civil society.

You understand the importance of cooperation with your colleagues, maintaining routines and rules, and treating everyone you meet in your work with friendliness and respect.

The work is located at various places in the municipality, such as schools, sports halls, and meeting places.

Evening and weekend shifts are included in the work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has post-secondary education relevant to the position; e.g., youth leader education, social pedagogue, social worker.
• Has previous experience in similar work.
• Is creative, innovative, driven, and can work both independently and in a team.
• Dares to try new methods and approaches.
