Vårdcentralen Skurup is a pleasant health center with a good working atmosphere, located ten minutes from the train station in Skurup, providing good commuting opportunities from both Malmö and Ystad.

We are Scania's oldest health center with high accessibility and satisfied patients. The population is mixed, with patients of all ages. This means you will encounter patients with various diseases and conditions.

We have around 50 employees and approximately 11,500 registered patients. The health center offers district nurse clinics, child health services, asthma/COPD and diabetes clinics, blood pressure clinics, memory clinics, and elderly care clinics. Additionally, we have close cooperation with municipal home care services.

We work in a cross-professional manner and hold daily joint assessment rounds with person-centered care as the focus. Furthermore, our psychosocial team consists of 2 psychotherapists, 1 social worker (counselor), and 1 occupational therapist.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Here, you will have the opportunity to work with people of all ages with various mental and social health conditions. The work is always based on a holistic perspective with the patient in focus, and you will primarily work with individual conversations.

At our health center, you will meet patients with mental and behavioral health issues. Your role is to meet patients' needs for psychosocial support through supportive and/or therapeutic conversations. You assess the patient's mental health from a holistic perspective and treat their mental and social health conditions using evidence-based methods, both individually and in groups.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you with a completed social work degree, eligible to work within Swedish healthcare, and good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. We also appreciate experience working in primary care.

As a person, you have a genuine interest in people and work with the patient in focus while working towards the organization's goals. You are confident in your professional role, positive, and contribute to a good working atmosphere. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and are flexible regarding the varying tasks that may arise during a day at a health center. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
