About the position

We are currently looking for a personal assistant for a man living in Munka-Ljungby. We are looking for you who want to work extra when needed, covering for regular staff absence. There is an opportunity for more hours during the summer. Our client uses a wheelchair and needs support with many aspects of daily life. He communicates and explains to you what help he needs. Duties include, among other things, daily routines, personal hygiene, and dressing/undressing. Assistive devices, such as a ceiling lift, are available in the home.

Working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 07:00-19:20 (these times may change in the future),
• 18:15-07:15 (with sleeping on-call between 23:00 - 07:15, but with two hours of active time).

About the client

Our client enjoys going for walks or spending time in the garden during the summer. If you also like walking and have an interest in gardening, that is a big plus!

About you

As a personal assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and meaningful daily life for our client. You will be an important part of their life and contribute to their independence and well-being.

We believe that you who apply for this position are a person with "skin on your nose" (resilient), who is both calm and confident. As a personal assistant with us, we also see that you are responsive, responsible, flexible, and cooperative. The most important thing is that there is personal chemistry between you as the applicant and the client. This may become decisive in the final selection.

Requirements:

• You are a non-smoker,
• You hold a Category B driver's license (automatic/manual) and have access to your own car to commute to work.

It is an advantage if you

• have experience working as a personal assistant or within healthcare and social care.

Scope: Extra/as needed with the possibility of more hours during the summer. Number of positions: 3. Start date: Immediately, as agreed. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the positions will be filled as soon as possible. Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

If you are to work with this client, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so the order should be placed well in advance.
