The outpatient care in Osby Municipality is now looking for an engaged family therapist, as one of our appreciated colleagues is taking the next step in their career, and we are looking for you who want to continue making a difference together with us.

As a family therapist in our outpatient care operations, you work close to children, young people, and their families to create sustainable changes in everyday life. The interventions are designed based on the families' needs and can be provided at home, in our facilities, or in other environments.

Your work tasks include, among other things:

• Offer support conversations to individuals and families
• Work together with the individual/family's network to create structure and motivation
• Hold parenting courses
• Provide support in the form of service interventions and assistance according to the Social Services Act
• Collaborate with internal and external actors
• Work with documentation and implementation plans

You have significant responsibility for your cases while having close support from colleagues and management.

You will become part of an experienced and engaged team consisting of:

• Five family therapists
• Two adult therapists
• Development leader
• Family assistant
• Social worker, project employee within "Together for Presence".

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a social worker, social pedagogue, or have other relevant higher education. You have experience of therapeutic work with children and families, preferably in municipal outpatient care. It is meritorious if you have further education in e.g., KIBB, FFT, or education regarding violence in close relationships, as well as experience in holding parenting courses.

In the work as a therapist, you should be secure in your professional role and able to meet people in need of social services support in a clear and trustworthy manner. We place great importance on the treatment of the people who seek support from us, therefore personal suitability is of great significance.

As a person, you are used to taking personal responsibility for your working day, planning, and completing your work tasks. The work is varied and places high demands on competence and flexibility. You are independent, have good cooperation skills, and are interested in personal and professional development. We are looking for you who want to accept the challenge and be part of our continued work forward.

Flexibility is an important part of the mission here. We are there when our citizens need us the most. This means that the work sometimes takes place both early mornings and late evenings. Together we adapt to be able to provide the right support at the right time.

The work tasks require that you have good knowledge and ability to express yourself in speech and writing.

A Class B driver's license is required for the employment.
