Description

Enehagens School is located in central Värnamo, close to forests and open land. Within walking distance, you find both city amenities and opportunities for a rich outdoor life with a nearby lake. The school has approximately 280 students distributed across grades Pre-Kindergarten to 6 (F-6).

Responsibilities

Your main task involves supporting students in their social interactions as well as in their learning during school lessons, and working at the leisure center in the afternoons. Throughout the day, you will collaborate with other school resources and teachers, both during school hours and leisure time.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in working with children and students. You have a desire to support and create motivation based on each student's unique prerequisites. You must have completed pedagogical education or equivalent experience at least at the upper secondary level, as well as further education as a support pedagogue or social pedagogue. Higher university education in pedagogy or behavioral sciences is meritorious.

The work requires insight into pedagogical work and appropriate interaction with students who need special support. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. You must be able to communicate in both speech and writing and feel confident in meetings with authorities and guardians.
