NPF Barnvakten is looking for a Nanny Specialist with a focus on NPD

Employment:

Initially, a needs-based position of approximately 10–15 hours per week. The position has good prospects for expansion in the future.

Location:

Remote work, based in Stockholm.

Travel may occur in the role at a later stage, and since our headquarters (not a physical office) are in Stockholm, we prefer applicants from the same area.

Working Hours:

Fixed phone hours 3 times a week, 2 hours per session. Remaining hours are flexible.

A major benefit of the position is the flexibility the role offers. We work with freedom under responsibility and expect you to take ownership of your work and ensure that tasks are carried out in a professional manner. Where you choose to work, and to some extent when, allows for great flexibility in consultation with the CEO and based on the business's needs. Phone hours are determined together with the CEO based on business needs and your availability.

About the Role

We are looking for an engaged, responsible, and self-starting Nanny Specialist who wants to be a central part of our operations. You will be the first point of contact for both families and nannies, playing a key role in creating safety, quality, and structure in our assignments. You report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with the company's leadership. As we are a small company with short decision-making paths, you are expected to work independently, take initiative, and make decisions within the scope of your role. There are good opportunities for increased working hours as the company grows and demand for our services increases.

We are currently in an exciting growth phase and aim to expand during 2026–2027. Therefore, we are looking for you who want to be part of our journey and develop together with the company. Our hope is to create a long-term collaboration, and there are good opportunities for the position to expand as the business grows and demand increases.

Responsibilities

• Receive and handle inquiries from families.
• Recruit and match nannies.
• Maintain ongoing contact and follow-up with both employees and families.
• Answer the phone during fixed phone hours.
• Handle incoming questions via email and other channels.
• Be the first point of contact and face of the business.

Requirements

We are looking for you who have:

• Good knowledge and understanding of NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders).
• Experience working with children and young people with NPD.
• Good familiarity with low-affective handling (calm and supportive interaction).
• Knowledge of clarifying pedagogy.
• Experience working with families in a supportive, coordinating, or pedagogical role.
• Very good communicative skills in spoken and written Swedish.
• Ability to create safety, build relationships, and work solution-focused.
• Good organizational skills and experience handling multiple contact points simultaneously.
• A professional, warm, and service-oriented approach to work.

Merits

• Education in pedagogy, special education, psychology, social work, or similar.
• Post-secondary education in areas such as behavioral science, preschool teacher, teacher, social pedagogue, or support pedagogue.
• Experience from LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) activities, schools, student health services, or residential care.
• Training in low-affective handling.
• Training in clarifying pedagogy.
• Experience in recruitment, matching, or coordinating roles.
• Experience in customer service, on-call activities, or phone-based work.
• Driver's license and access to a personal car.

Salary: 160–170 SEK/hour
