Description

We are now looking for a housing assistant or support educator for the group home at Volgsjövägen 20. The position is a permanent employment with a working time of 79.5%.

Job Responsibilities

Group housing is a form of housing under LSS, the Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Impairments. At the residence, you will work with each individual's strengths, interests, and dreams based on clarifying pedagogy and a low-affective approach. The pedagogy creates clear implementation plans with concrete, measurable, and realistic goals linked to the individual's wishes and needs. The job responsibilities include creating a safe, secure, and homelike environment for the individuals, assisting with personal care, providing support during activities, and being a support to create security in everyday life.

You need to meet the individuals with a professional attitude, where you positively support, encourage, and engage the individuals. You need to be able to take initiative and be available in everyday life. We work from a salutogenic approach, which means that we start from the resources and abilities that the individuals we work for have. We adapt support, care, and nursing based on individual needs for help and support in daily life. This can, for example, involve social interaction, outdoor activities, community with others, and social activities.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have education as a nurse assistant or within child and youth care, pedagogical education, or other suitable education for the profession. It is an advantage if you have education as a support educator.

Properties such as positivity, flexibility, patience, and commitment are valued. For all our jobs, great importance is placed on personal suitability.

To be able to communicate with users, relatives, and colleagues, write and read care documentation, and obtain medication delegation, you must have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

A B-driver's license is a requirement.

Conditions

A certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (extract from the criminal record) is required prior to employment.
