Eriksdalsskolan is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) located on Södermalm, close to both the city's pulse and beautiful natural areas. The school is vibrant, with approximately 970 students in grades F-9. At Eriksdalsskolan, we have students in both regular school and adapted special needs education. Together with our competent students and staff, we create the best school for our specific students.

The school has a well-developed student health service with all professions represented, as well as studios with special needs teachers and special educators who, together with other staff, create good conditions for all students.

Your role

We are looking for a teacher who will teach Mathematics, Science (NO), and Technology in grades 7–9.

You will be part of a grade-level team and a subject team where you collaborate with colleagues and are an important part of collegial learning to create new and in-depth knowledge and develop teaching.

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, teaching, documentation, assessment, and evaluation of the classes you teach.

The position includes shared mentorship in grade 8.

Your qualifications and experience

We are looking for someone who has high expectations for students' achievement of goals, good pedagogical insight, and is clear and engaged to bring out the best in students. You who apply:

• are a certified teacher with eligibility in Mathematics/Science/Technology for grades 7–9
• have experience working with students in need of special support
• have experience working with students with functional variations
• are a clear leader in the classroom
• have experience with mentorship

You have a good ability to design teaching in accordance with curricula, subject plans, and current knowledge requirements. You take responsibility for and have insight into students' results and needs, and structure and adapt your teaching so that a safe and adequate learning environment is created.

You value and create good conditions for collaboration and build good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You plan, organize, and analyze your teaching as well as other duties included in your role in an effective manner.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Previous experience working with the block model is meritorious.
