Eriksdalsskolan is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) located on Södermalm, close to both the city's pulse and beautiful natural areas. The school is vibrant, with approximately 970 students in grades F-9. At Eriksdalsskolan, we have students in both regular and adapted comprehensive education. Together with our competent students and staff, we create the best school for our specific students.

Your Role

We are looking for a teacher who will teach Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Technology in grades 7–9.

You will be part of a grade-level team and a subject team, collaborating with colleagues and playing a key role in collegial learning to create new and in-depth knowledge and develop teaching methods.

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, teaching, documentation, assessment, and evaluation of the classes you teach.

The position includes shared mentorship duties for grade 8.

Your Competence and Experience

We are looking for someone who has high expectations for students' goal achievement, good pedagogical insight, and is clear and engaged in bringing out the best in students. You who apply:

• are a certified teacher with eligibility in Mathematics/Natural Sciences/Technology for grades 7–9
• have experience working with students in need of special support
• have experience working with students with functional variations
• are a clear leader in the classroom
• have experience in mentorship

You have a good ability to design teaching in accordance with curricula, subject plans, and current knowledge requirements. You take responsibility for and have insight into students' results and needs, structuring and adapting your teaching to create a safe and adequate learning environment.

You value and create good conditions for collaboration and build good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You plan, organize, and analyze your teaching as well as other duties included in your role in an effective manner.
