Job Responsibilities

As a social pedagogue at Rönnowska School, you work at the intersection of pedagogy and social work. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Working strategically to strengthen students' sense of coherence, security, and connection to the school. Through good relationships and clear boundaries, you actively contribute to study well-being both inside and outside the classroom.
• Being part of driving and participating in the school's preventive work against bullying, discrimination, and exclusion. You handle, investigate, and document incidents systematically in DF-respons and follow up on interventions.
• Collaborating on targeted and structured attendance support to prevent study interruptions. This may involve acting as mentor support at the school, providing extended individual support to students in need of extra guidance, and supporting the school's mentors and educators in handling complex social situations or challenging group dynamics.
• Being a visible, accessible, and secure adult in common areas.

Qualifications

To succeed and thrive in the role of social pedagogue with us, you must meet the following requirements and possess the following qualities:

• A degree as a social pedagogue, social worker, or other behavioral science education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Previous experience working with young people or young adults, preferably in upper secondary school, and good knowledge of the school and student health services' mission.
• Experience with documentation and work in digital operational systems, where experience with DF-respons is an advantage.
• You have a very good ability to build trusting relationships while maintaining professional boundaries and retaining adult authority.
• Since the role involves many contact points, you must be communicative, have excellent teamwork skills, and enjoy working in a team. At the same time, you are self-reliant and confident in driving your own processes and activities in common areas.

It is an advantage if you are multilingual and have a driver's license. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
