Hedlunda Industri AB is now looking for an analytical and business-oriented Production Controller who also takes on the role of system owner for the business system Monitor. The position belongs to the finance department and you will report directly to the CFO.

About the role

In the role of Production Controller and system owner for Monitor, you work at the intersection of production, finance, and IT/systems. You are responsible for ensuring that production data, financial parameters, and calculation assumptions in Monitor are correct, up-to-date, and adapted to the business's needs. Your work will be an important part in creating reliable decision support and contributing to the company's development and profitability.

The tasks are varied and include, among other things, monitoring and analyzing production costs, efficiency, and margins, as well as working with budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators related to production. You prepare product and manufacturing calculations, perform variance analysis, and identify improvement opportunities together with the operations team. The role also involves supporting production management and the organization with financial matters and participating in closing and reporting.

As the system owner for Monitor, you have overall responsibility for the business system from a business and financial perspective. You ensure that the system's structures, parameters, and master data support correct calculation, monitoring, and reporting. The role also involves ongoing work with quality assurance and development of production-related parameters such as cycle and setup times, material utilization, scrap, quality results, as well as capacity and utilization data.

You collaborate closely with production, finance, and IT during changes and improvements in systems and working methods. Furthermore, you drive and participate in development projects related to data quality and system support and serve as the company's contact person towards Monitor and external partners.

We are looking for you who

We are looking for you who have a relevant university education in economics, industrial economics, or equivalent. You have experience from the manufacturing industry and a good understanding of production processes and cost drivers. Experience in controlling is meritorious, but we also welcome those who have worked close to operations and wish to develop further in this area.

Experience with Monitor ERP, system administration, or system ownership is a big plus. You are accustomed to working closely with data, have good system proficiency, and very good skills in Excel. You communicate well in Swedish and English.

As a person, you are analytical, structured, and have a strong sense of responsibility. You enjoy owning issues, working close to operations, and are driven by creating improvements and developing working methods. You have a pedagogical ability and can clearly translate numbers and system data into decision support that helps the organization move forward.
