Assignment Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer.

What You Will Work On

Define requirements and design advanced network and embedded platforms
Perform bring-up, validation, and troubleshooting of hardware-near systems
Work with platforms based on Ethernet chipsets and networking modules
Lead and support troubleshooting across hardware and software domains
Collaborate closely with electronics and embedded Linux development teams
Investigate and resolve complex cross-domain system issues
Analyze system behavior and ensure reliability and performance
Document architecture decisions, measurements, and troubleshooting findings
Validate functionality and stability across integrated environments
Support continuous improvements in platform quality and technical robustness
Contribute to system integration and product lifecycle activities

What You Bring

Academic background in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent practical experience
Deep understanding of low-level networking technologies including Ethernet and hardware-near communication
Experience with bring-up and troubleshooting of low-level interfaces such as PHY, MDIO, U-Boot, and Linux-based environments
Hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or similar diagnostic tools
Experience with or strong understanding of SFP/SFP+ and optical transceiver technologies
Ability and interest in solving complex problems across hardware and software boundaries
Experience working closely with electronics and embedded software teams
Strong analytical and structured troubleshooting capabilities
Professional proficiency in Swedish and English
