We are now in a phase of growth and change as we migrate to the cloud, and therefore need to strengthen our development department with an Engineering Manager.

Your Mission As an Engineering Manager at Winassist, you are responsible for both people and technology in our Core Team. The role is clearly leadership-focused with full personnel responsibility, where you create structure, direction, and security for the team. Together with the Tech Lead, you ensure that the technical direction is reflected in the team's delivery, in our cloud journey, and technical modernization. You act as a close and coaching manager for the developers and support the CTO in leadership. The role ensures that technical decisions are translated into delivery, in close collaboration with the Tech Lead. The CTO owns the overall technical strategy.

Much has already been started; your mission is to further develop working methods, create stability, and ensure that technology, people, and delivery are connected in a sustainable way. The role is primarily a leadership role with a focus on people, structure, and delivery.

You will among other things:

• Lead a team of initially 9 developers, 3 of whom are consultants.
• Lead, coach, and develop the team both individually and as a group.
• Contribute to team and organizational development by evaluating competencies and working methods.
• Work closely with the Tech Lead to ensure that the technical direction is reflected in the team's delivery.
• Act as support to the Tech Lead in leading the team by ensuring clear tasks, realistic scheduling, and balanced prioritization.
• In consultation with the Tech Lead, identify risks and dependencies, and ensure that technical decisions regarding architecture and working methods are implemented in the team's delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Product and QA.

About You: We are looking for you who are passionate about developing people and teams, without losing respect for the importance of technology. You are confident in the leadership role, structured in your working methods, and comfortable making decisions even when everything is not fully defined.

We believe you have:

• Experience of personnel responsibility for developers, including leading teams, working with coaching leadership, and taking responsibility for delivery and quality.
• Good understanding of system design and architecture, and the ability to participate in and contribute to technical discussions.
• Experience of development in cloud environments (GCP is advantageous).
• Background from a SaaS company or other product development.
• Background in software development, preferably within backend.
• Practical experience with AI in development work (code, analysis, documentation).

Advantageous: Experience with Kotlin or Delphi.
