Job Description

We are looking for a Test Engineer who wants to work closely with hardware, test environments, and embedded systems within a development team. The role involves practical, hands-on work where you handle, configure, and maintain test equipment and rigs for the team's development work. You will work on mounting components, such as controls or levers, in test environments and ensure that hardware, cabling, and systems are set up correctly.

The assignment also includes flashing software, ensuring systems have the correct baseline, and performing basic troubleshooting using tools such as OBD scanners. A key part of the job is contributing to making the test environment mimic real-world functionality. You collaborate with various stakeholders within the organization and contribute to ensuring the test environment functions according to the assignment's requirements.

This role is suitable for you if you thrive in a practical environment where troubleshooting, hardware, and functional testing are the focus, rather than pure development. As a person, you are collaborative, flexible, and comfortable dealing with many stakeholders. You work independently when needed, but also function well in a team and are confident in handling different wills, priorities, and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid B-class driver's license.
• Ability to collaborate effectively, manage different stakeholders, communicate clearly, take responsibility, and work in a solution-oriented manner.
• Well-developed troubleshooting skills.
• Relevant work experience of at least two years, as well as experience working with embedded hardware or test environments.

Experience with HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) rigs, for example, in construction or maintenance, or similar test environments, is considered an asset.
