IT Technician within 2nd Line Support

Do you want to work in a technically broad role where you can combine troubleshooting, problem-solving, and user support? We are now looking for an experienced IT Technician for a project with one of our clients. Here you will have a central role in the support organization and the opportunity to work with everything from operating systems and client management to networking and incident management.

About the role

As an IT Technician within 2nd Line Support, you will become an important part of the support team and be responsible for handling cases escalated from 1st line. You will work with troubleshooting, problem-solving, and support in areas such as operating systems, clients, and networks, while ensuring a good user experience through clear communication and high service standards.

You will collaborate closely with both internal IT functions and external vendors to resolve complex cases and contribute to developing the support team's methods and processes.

Examples of tasks

  • Handle and resolve cases related to operating systems, clients, and networks

  • Troubleshoot incidents and service requests escalated from 1st line

  • Provide technical guidance and support to support colleagues

  • Document cases, solutions, and work processes

  • Participate in incident and problem management

  • Collaborate with 3rd line, internal specialist teams, and external vendors

  • Identify areas for improvement and contribute to the development of processes and working methods

We are looking for someone who

  • Has post-secondary education in IT

  • Has at least three years of experience working in IT support or a similar role

  • Has experience with troubleshooting in operating systems, client environments, and networks

  • Thrives in structured and service-oriented work

  • Communicates clearly and professionally with users and colleagues

  • Has a good understanding of ITIL processes or similar working methods

Experience from larger and complex organizations is considered a merit.
