DUTIES

The Social Secretary is responsible for following up on the care of children placed in foster homes. The assignment involves regularly conversing with the child, monitoring the child's development, and being attentive to the child's needs and granting support measures based on these.

In the role of the child's Social Secretary, the focus is always on the child or young person. The assignment is to ensure that placed children receive safe, secure, and high-quality care. Our ambition is that every child should be given the best possible conditions for positive development and good living conditions.

The work takes place in close collaboration with the child's network as well as internal and external partners, such as preschools, schools, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP), police, and other relevant actors.

In daily work, you will receive support and supervision from a coordinator and an engaged team. Together with the coordinator and unit manager, the team also works on continuous method development to ensure safe and high-quality foster care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a social worker and have experience in authority enforcement within the field of children and young people.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience working with domestic violence and familiarity with methods such as FREDA and PATRIARK
• Experience with the business system Lifecare
• Training in Signs of Safety

Other Requirements

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both oral and written
• Good computer skills, preferably experience with Lifecare
• Category B driver's license is required
