Rudsskolan is a large, vibrant, and exciting workplace for grades 7 to 9. The school has approximately 570 students, distributed across the three grade levels.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a substitute teacher in Science subjects and Technology for teaching in grades 7–9. In your role, you will collaborate with other teachers in both subject teams and work teams.

We focus on building good relationships with students, as we believe this is a key factor for success. In addition to being a subject teacher, you will also serve as a class mentor alongside another teacher.

Our goal is for every student to achieve more than they themselves thought possible.

At Rudsskolan, we have a strong team spirit. You are never alone with challenges and questions. We help each other in work teams and subject teams to plan our work. There is great openness among teachers, and we share a common responsibility for ensuring all students succeed.

This is a fixed-term position at 50% during the academic year 2026/2027, subject to necessary approvals.

Qualifications

We are looking for a teacher with eligibility and certification in Science subjects and Technology, who has good collaborative skills, strong commitment, and the ability to build relationships with students and adults.

• You should be flexible, empathetic, calm, and patient, with a willingness to take significant personal responsibility for your work.
• You should be calm and stable in your interactions, sensitive to individuals' different needs and conditions, and able to adapt accordingly.
• You must find it easy to collaborate in work teams and share and absorb your own and others' knowledge/perspectives on working with students' development based on the knowledge goals in the curriculum.
