Responsibilities

The position involves working as a teaching teacher in textile crafts at the Solbacka school area/Östra school in Sunne Municipality. You will plan, implement, and evaluate the pedagogical work in collaboration with other educators and other staff members at the schools. You will collaborate closely with the teacher in wood and metal crafts regarding the planning for the subject of crafts in general, as well as in various projects and in assessment. You are well-versed in the steering documents and use pedagogical planning as the basis for your work. You take overall responsibility and work for a safe environment for all students at the school.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in the subject of textile crafts for grades 3–6. Merit is if you have experience working within the school system. You have a holistic view, interest, and commitment to the entire student's development, are flexible, and have the ability to adapt, as well as the ability to teach in a differentiated manner. You are flexible, solution-focused, calm, and stable, and have great patience and the ability to wait for the student according to their prerequisites and needs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability for the position.

Conditions

A valid extract from the police criminal record must be presented before employment can take place. The position is a permanent employment with possible probationary period starting from 2026-08-10. Interviews are held continuously during the recruitment period, and employment decisions may be taken before the last application date. The position will be filled if required decisions are made.

A valid B driver's license and access to a personal car are required.
