Sydnärkes Educational Consortium is a municipal consortium located in Hallsberg, with Askersund, Hallsberg, and Laxå as member municipalities. On behalf of the member municipalities, we lead and are responsible for upper secondary education, adult education, and commissioned training. We offer 12 national upper secondary programs, introductory programs, and adapted upper secondary schools. In addition, we also operate Komvux (adult education) at Allévux.
We have a total of approximately 1,800 students, of whom 1,300 are at Alléskolan and 500 at Allévux. We have around 300 employees, and in daily work, support is available in the form of functions such as administration, HR, finance, and IT. Job Responsibilities
As a communicator with us, you are alone in your role and have overall responsibility for the consortium's communication and marketing. During the autumn, your focus will be on implementing our new vision and direction for the consortium, as well as creating new material to complement the vision and establish a clear thread in the work with vision and direction.
The role includes working with among other things:
- Create graphic material, presentations, originals, and printed materials
- Contribute with communication material and coordinate events, fairs, and internal activities
- Create target-group-adapted content for social media, campaigns, and recruitment efforts
- Write and produce news, reports, and articles for the consortium's various channels
- Photograph, film, edit, caption, and publish content
- Update and develop content on the web
- The consortium's crisis communication
The role of communicator is part of the HR and IT unit at the consortium. You will work together with an HR generalist on the consortium's employer brand.
Qualifications
You can produce, finalize, and get things done while having a sense of the whole, tone, and visual expression. You thrive when you get to switch between graphic production, content production, and publishing, and you are solution-oriented when conditions or pace change. You have a good sense of visual expression, tone, and language. You dare to test new things, want to develop, and are happy to contribute ideas that make our communication even better.
We are looking for you who have:
- An academic education in media and communication science, or post-secondary vocational education in marketing communication and content production, or education that the employer deems equivalent
- Several years of work experience in the field of communication and marketing communication
- Very good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.) and Canva
- You have good ability to express yourself in the Swedish language, both orally and in writing, and can formulate yourself clearly and engagingly to different target groups.
- You use clear language (Klarspråk) in your communication
- You adapt messages and channel selection according to purpose, target group, and the organization's needs
It is meritorious if you as an applicant have:
- Experience working with an organization's brand
- Experience working in public sector operations
- Experience with graphic profiling, making posters, campaigns, etc.
- Experience working with communication plans, channel strategies, and crisis communication
- Experience branding an organization and being visible on social media
- Experience working in Sitevision

Interviews will take place on the morning of June 12th.
Salary: Monthly salary.
