Häggvallskolan

Häggvallskolan is a grades 6-9 school located at Höviksnäs on the northeast part of Tjörn. Communication options are good, with a bus stop right outside the school.

Our school is welcoming and has a good work climate among everyone who works here, both students and staff. The school has approximately 400 students distributed across four work teams and a special education group. We work to ensure that all students feel included in the school's activities.

Collegial learning permeates everything we do, and we continuously engage in professional development tailored to existing needs. Many at the school have completed the "Läslyftet" (Reading Lift) program and training in NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders).

Responsibilities

We are looking for a certified teacher with qualifications to teach mathematics, Science (NO), and Technology. The position also includes mentorship for a class.

As a teacher with us, you plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on the national curriculum. You are responsible for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment where students are given the best possible conditions for development. In the role of mentor, you, together with a colleague, have a special responsibility for a class at the school.

Positivity, engagement, and clarity in your communication should characterize your working style. You have a good ability to build trusting relationships and possess leadership that promotes engagement, participation, and a good study environment. You value collaboration and want to actively contribute to the joint development of the work team and the school.

Qualifications

For this position, you must be a graduated teacher and hold a teaching license. You are welcome to be a recent graduate or have worked for a while and are seeking new challenges.

Your teaching has clear foundations in the national curriculum, and you have strong teaching skills. We are looking for someone who can apply a goal-oriented working method and who has a professional approach towards children/students, guardians, and colleagues. You see the value of collegial learning and want to contribute to development and renewal.
