ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Aktiv Assistans are looking for two personal assistants for our client who lives in the central parts of Umeå. The positions are for 75% and the working hours are scheduled as follows:

  • 06:00–16:30

  • 16:30–02:00

  • 16:30–16:30 (occurs during weekends)

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a man in his mid-30s living in a villa with his partner. He has an active lifestyle and would therefore appreciate it if you, as an applicant, thrive in that environment. The days are often eventful, while the evenings usually slow down. It is important to our client that you have drive and the ability to take initiative even during quieter moments. To enable the lifestyle he desires, he is now looking for a personal assistant who can act as his extended arm in daily life.

Tasks:

  • Daily routines such as household chores and cooking

  • Personal care and transfers

Our client values his independence and is therefore looking for an assistant who can contribute to him living as independent a life as possible. You need to have a good ability to read situations and know when it is time to take initiative and when you should step back and give space. Furthermore, you are meticulous, sensitive, and reliable. To thrive in the role, we also see that you appreciate an active everyday life.

  • Non-smoker

  • Experience working as a personal assistant

Employment level: 2 positions at 75%.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Aktiv Assistans, you must have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID and/or submit a tax certificate (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the tax certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you must present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so the order should be placed well in advance.
