We are looking for a personal assistant for a cheerful woman in her 50s with PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy). This is a rare muscle disease affecting only about 40 people in Skåne. The condition resembles ALS and MS in nature. She lives in a house with her husband and their dog. She enjoys going out for coffee and shopping at malls. She undergoes rehabilitation training both at home and with a physiotherapist, where you as an assistant will be helpful during various exercises. Additionally, she needs help with hygiene, household chores, and more. She is interested in sports and enjoys following both football and ice hockey.

She uses a wheelchair, and the home is equipped with aids such as a ceiling lift, care bed, shower chair, and wheelchair.

Who are you?

We are looking for a woman, aged 35 or older, with experience in MS, ALS, or equivalent experience. It is important that you are easy-going, sensitive, and reliable. Further training in patient handling and palliative care is meritorious.
