Requirements Manager / Requirements Analyst for Business-Critical IT Assignment
We are looking for an experienced Requirements Manager/Requirements Analyst for a long-term assignment in Stockholm. This role is ideal for you who have extensive experience in requirements management, business analysis, and agile methodologies in complex IT environments, preferably within a government agency or other large organization.
The assignment involves requirements work related to business-critical digital services and platforms. You will work closely with the business side, product owners, development teams, testers, platform owners, infrastructure specialists, and other technical functions.
About the Role
As a Requirements Manager/Requirements Analyst, you are responsible for driving, structuring, and coordinating requirements management throughout the entire development and maintenance process. You will play a central role in the dialogue with business stakeholders to identify, analyze, document, and prioritize needs and requirements.
You contribute to ensuring that development initiatives and digital solutions support the business's goals, comply with relevant regulations, and align with established architecture and design principles.
The role also involves supporting the team in their daily work and acting as a consultant on matters related to business value, prioritization, and feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
You will, among other things:
- Lead and coordinate requirements work related to digital services and platforms
- Conduct needs analysis, process mapping, and requirements gathering
- Document, structure, and prioritize business requirements
- Ensure traceability and quality of requirements throughout the development and maintenance process
- Collaborate with product owners, development teams, testers, platform owners, and the business
- Coordinate requirements work according to agile methodologies
- Contribute to stable maintenance, continuous improvement, and efficient delivery
- Support teams and stakeholders on matters related to prioritization, feasibility, and business value
What We Are Looking For
To fit the role, we see that you have:
- At least 9 years of experience as a requirements analyst, requirements manager, or in a similar role
- At least 5–10 years of experience in requirements management or leadership roles within IT development, preferably within a government agency
- At least 5 years of experience leading or supporting teams in transitioning to agile ways of working
- Documented experience in process mapping, needs analysis, and requirements management
- Experience working in complex IT environments with many stakeholders
- Excellent ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
Additional Qualifications
It is a plus if you also have:
- Experience with SAFe and Scrum
- Certification in requirements management, agile methodologies, or change management
- Experience with requirements specification in IT environments within the public sector
- Experience with GDPR as well as public access and secrecy legislation
- Experience leading or coordinating distributed or virtual teams
- Experience in business-oriented IT work within a government agency
