We are currently looking for a Strategic IT Requirements Analyst for a long-term assignment within a complex and socially vital organization. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable in large organizations, can create structure in ambiguous situations, and has experience driving requirements work at the intersection of business, IT, architecture, security, and legal matters.
In this role, you will work on IT-related requirements definition in major procurements and projects, primarily related to traffic, vehicles, and contracting. You will serve as a key bridge between core business operations and IT, contributing to a clear, sustainable, and well-anchored requirements picture.
About the RoleAs a Strategic IT Requirements Analyst, you will collect, analyze, formulate, structure, and anchor IT-related requirements and requirement specifications. The work covers both functional and non-functional requirements, such as IT security, information security, architecture, and operational reliability.
You will work in a large and complex system environment with many dependencies, multiple stakeholders, and sometimes incomplete information. Therefore, the role requires you to be pragmatic, structured, and accustomed to creating momentum even when conditions change.
You will be part of a small team and work closely with the lead requirements manager, architects, product owners, IT specialists, security roles, business representatives, and external parties.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour tasks will include, but are not limited to:
Collecting, formulating, structuring, and quality-assuring IT-related requirements
Developing and anchoring requirement specifications in major procurements and projects
Working with both functional and non-functional requirements, such as IT and information security
Facilitating workshops and information gathering with various stakeholders
Ensuring the IT perspective is clear and consistent in procurement processes
Analyzing needs from business, IT, architecture, security, and legal departments
Creating structure and momentum in complex environments with many systems and dependencies
Compiling formal documents, such as requirement specifications, procurement documents, or contract-related documentation
To be considered for this assignment, you must have:
At least 4 years of experience as a requirements analyst, business analyst, or similar role within IT
Documented experience in needs analysis, requirements gathering, and creating requirement specifications
Experience with technology-oriented non-functional requirements, such as IT security, architecture, or operational reliability
Experience working with requirements in large and complex system environments
Experience leading or facilitating workshops and information gathering
Experience writing and compiling formal documents, such as procurement documents, contracts, requirement annexes, or similar
Excellent proficiency in Swedish, both written and spoken
The following qualifications are particularly advantageous:
Experience with requirement specifications in public sector procurements
Certification in requirements analysis, such as IREB CPRE or equivalent
Experience with requirements work in large IT projects involving many stakeholders
Experience with requirements management across multiple projects, departments, or domains
Experience with strategic requirements work at a high level, not limited to a single solution
Experience from operations within traffic, transport, vehicles, infrastructure, or the public sector
To succeed in this role, we believe you are confident, structured, and communicative. You easily adapt to new areas and can quickly understand complex interrelations. You are accustomed to collaborating with various types of stakeholders and can translate technical issues into clear, usable, and well-anchored requirements.
You should also thrive in environments where not everything is defined from the start. You can handle changing conditions, work transparently, and continue driving the work forward even when requirement specifications need to be revised or reprioritized.
LocationThe assignment is located in Stockholm, Kungsholmen, with the possibility of some remote work. During the initial period, a significant part of the work is expected to be on-site to build understanding, collaboration, and trust.
