At the Central Child and Student Support Unit in Hässleholm, we constantly strive to ensure that everyone in the school has the opportunity to reach their full potential. We are now looking for a psychologist who can lecture for school staff, mentor educators, and administer intelligence tests, among other tasks. In the role of psychologist, you work in accordance with the Education Act and the Health and Medical Services Act.

You work together with three licensed psychologists and collaborate with the school's student health team in preventive and health-promoting work to remove obstacles in students' learning. The work is carried out on behalf of the principal. With a salutogenic focus, early interventions, and interdisciplinary work, you contribute not only to the forward development of the school but also to your personal development as a psychologist. As a school psychologist, you gain broad experience at the individual, group, and organizational levels, and get to know all parts of the operation.

You offer training and consultation to various professional groups in the school based on identified needs, questions, and wishes. Through interdisciplinary cooperation, the questions can be illuminated from different perspectives. The interventions can be directed at both school staff and students. Other assessments of students' needs in school are made based on, for example, observations and conversations with teachers, guardians, and the student. As a school psychologist, you also conduct developmental assessments with questions regarding intellectual disability.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist, preferably with experience working with children and young people. You contribute the psychological perspective in collaboration with other professional groups with the aim of helping students improve their conditions for learning and knowledge development in school.

As a person, you are relationship-building and understand the value of trusting relationships with students, guardians, and other staff. Your driving force is to work for the best interests of the students based on their development and learning.

The position is a fixed-term contract at 40% and runs from August to December 2026.
