Job Responsibilities

As a special educator, you will be part of our student health team and will collaborate closely with teachers and other school staff. Your duties include assessing students' need for support, providing guidance to educators, and documenting according to our governing documents, as well as teaching in small groups based on our target areas. You will work preventively with our learning environments and contribute to the school's systematic quality work.

You will have contact with entities such as Central Student Health, Habilitation Services, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP). You will also work on assessing students' needs for special support, mentoring educators, and documenting in accordance with national and municipal guidelines.

Qualifications

A teaching license with eligibility as a primary school teacher (grades 1–6) is required, along with eligibility as a special educator. We are looking for you with a specialization in Swedish.

It is meritorious if you have the competence to teach students with difficulties in speech and pronunciation, as well as knowledge of alternative communication. Building relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians is important. You should have a good ability to see different perspectives and propose solutions.
