We are now looking for a strategic and proactive HR Specialist with a focus on change management and digitalization, who wants to help develop both people and the organization to prepare for future demands and opportunities.
About the HR Specialist role
The Department of Preschool & Primary School is in a period where demographic development and rapid societal changes create a need for new ways of working, structures, and behaviors. At the same time, digitalization and AI create new opportunities for learning, methods, and competence supply. As an HR Specialist, you will be a strategic change partner for the entire organization. With humility and understanding of the organization's mission, you will bring new perspectives and challenge established ways of working and structures. You look forward and build relationships that promote dialogue, engagement, and sustainable change, thereby developing employees and the organization with children and students in focus.
Your main areas of responsibility:
- Drive work to connect the department's goals, culture, leadership, and competence in a common direction.
- Lead and participate in projects within organizational and operational development.
- Support managers, employees, and colleagues in change management and transformation work related to organization, digitalization, and new ways of working.
- Monitor developments and trends in your area of assignment to implement them in practice and develop colleagues' competencies.
Your profile
You are accustomed to working in complex contexts and with a long-term perspective. You see the value of relationships and collaboration and contribute to security and courage through a structured approach and clear communication. You work analytically, find new solutions, and have the ability to engage and inspire others. Good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing are a prerequisite for daily work. Personal suitability is highly valued.
You have:
- A university degree with an HR focus or another education that the employer considers equivalent.
- Several years of professional experience in qualified HR work at both strategic and operational levels.
- Professional experience in driving change management, leadership, and/or organizational development.
- A valid driver's license (Category B).
Meritorious qualifications:
- Professional experience in a large and complex organization.
- Knowledge of information security and data protection.
- Relevant professional experience in driving digitalization issues.
About us
The HR and Communication Unit is a central administrative support function that, together with other support functions, is tasked with creating conditions for managers and employees to be secure, courageous, and co-creators. The unit consists of three HR Generalists, two communicators, and a development manager who coordinates the department's overall work environment efforts and union collaboration. The unit is led by the Personnel Director.
Around 2,300 employees work within the department to ensure care and education for the municipality's children and students aged 1 to 16. Our operations are divided into two areas; preschool and school, which are led by three operational managers and approximately 80 principals.
