I Ur och Skur Buskis is looking for a licensed preschool teacher. The position is fixed-term for 12 months, starting on August 1st.

I Ur och Skur Buskis is a small independent preschool with space for approximately 21 children. We work based on the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation's (Friluftsfrämjandet) "I Ur och Skur" pedagogy, which is built on experience-based learning with the child at the center, outdoor pedagogy, and outdoor life.

We offer a place in a fantastic team consisting of experienced and dedicated educators. Our current team includes two childcare assistants, one preschool teacher, and a principal. Your Role

Your duties include the standard responsibilities of a preschool teacher, but you will also work with us to drive the development of the preschool forward. You are part of the team and work according to the curriculum and other guiding documents within the children's group. You will be an active part of the systematic quality work and contribute to the documentation of the children's learning.

As we are a small preschool, we expect you, like the rest of the staff, to be involved in the practical work at the preschool. This includes dishwashing, cleaning, and, if interested, cooking.

It is important to us that you have a genuine interest in working with children and that you see it as a given to keep the children at the center of your role as a preschool teacher. We are looking for someone who is curious, solution-oriented, flexible, creative, and confident in their role as an educator. You have an interest in nature and outdoor life and enjoy spending most of your working day outdoors.

Qualifications

You are a licensed preschool teacher with experience in systematic quality work. You have practical experience using pedagogical documentation as a tool together with the children.

Merits

Experience in project-based work is considered an asset. Previous experience with outdoor pedagogy or work within any of the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation's (Friluftsfrämjandet) activities is a significant advantage.
