DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a teaching degree and are qualified to teach Home Economics and Consumer Studies in grades 6–9 of the compulsory school. The position may be combined with other subject(s). Mentorship for grades 7–9 is included in the role.

We are looking for you who are interested in development work, joint planning, and cross-curricular approaches. You are a natural leader in the classroom, have good communication skills, and have a strong interest in meeting people with different backgrounds and prerequisites. You have a good ability to build positive relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. As a person, you are characterized by a positive attitude and a solution-oriented approach. You have good IT skills, are communicative, and can express yourself clearly and correctly both orally and in writing. Personal suitability is of great importance.

A driver’s license with category B is a requirement.

According to the Education Act (2010:800), a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority’s criminal record register is required to work in preschool activities, school, or child care.

WORKPLACE

The Hagfors school area consists of the operations preschool, preschool class, after-school center, compulsory school, special needs compulsory school, upper secondary school, special needs upper secondary school, municipal adult education, special education for adults, youth club, school and public library, cultural school, as well as a special responsibility for culture in Hagfors Municipality.

The compulsory schools are located at Älvstranden Bildung Centre in Hagfors, at Kyrkhedens School in Ekshärad, as well as in Sunnemo and Råda. The upper secondary school and adult education are located at Älvstranden Bildung Centre in Hagfors. The current position is located at Älvstranden Bildung Centre.
