We show the way when life changes. In our work, we encounter both life and death. Being there when life takes a new turn, with grief and uncertainty, is an important task. It requires courage. We guide and support people in situations where life can be at its most difficult. Through our way of being and acting, with security, care, and guidance, we are there to create the finest ending. A final personal farewell.

A job close to life and death

With us, you build trust and confidence with our customers and act as a guide during a time that for many is filled with grief and uncertainty. Working in funeral services is varied, eventful, and requires a good understanding of people's wishes. Some of the tasks for a customer advisor/representative include:

  • Providing support and practical guidance to relatives throughout the entire funeral process, from the first meeting to follow-up
  • Advising on the planning and execution of the funeral ceremony, including choice of ceremony type, coffins, urns, and other details
  • Coordinating and communicating with external suppliers such as florists, parishes, religious communities, and authorities
  • Acting as a representative in churches, chapels, and other gathering places in connection with ceremonies, which entails overall responsibility for ensuring the ceremony meets the customer's order satisfactorily
  • Handling the deceased during personal farewells and preparation for the ceremony
  • Performing shrouding and coffin placement
  • Vehicle care – our vehicles should be as well-maintained as our service

The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date according to agreement. We apply a 6-month probation period.

Who are you?

You are our voice and face outward, and therefore we see that you have a strong commitment to our customers, exude security, and are motivated by helping in different situations in the best possible way. You are curious, like to change things for the better, and do not hesitate to come up with new ideas. For this role, we also see that it is important that:

  • You are structured and have a very good ability to plan and organize your work even when the pace varies
  • You have previous experience in customer-focused work
  • You are accustomed to using digital tools, and experience with various business systems is an advantage
  • You have good physical fitness as several heavy lifts occur in the work
  • You have the possibility to be on call to work outside office hours, where evening and weekend work occurs

It is meritorious if you speak several languages or have experience in our or related operations.

What we offer

With us, you get room to strengthen both your personal and professional development. We invest in competence development and have training programs for new employees.

Some of our other benefits are:

  • Collective agreement including insurance & pension
  • Employee discounts
  • Wellness allowance
  • Subsidized lunch
