Grebbestad School is a K-6 school with 185 students. The school's joint approach is based on an active formative learning process where the students' inherent strength is developed. We strive to create pedagogical accessibility for everyone and constantly adapt the didactic, spatial, and social environment to find the path to well-functioning learning. The position presupposes that you have an engaged pedagogical leadership style, dare and want to meet the school's future challenges together with your colleagues, school management, and students. You collaborate in the school's work team, which requires organizational skills, cooperation skills, a high degree of personal responsibility, flexibility, and that you share our joy in developing as a team.

You will work in close collaboration with other teachers, the principal, student health services, students, and guardians.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach in grades 4-6. You will teach in grade 6 in close collaboration with the other teacher in the same grade.

You have a good ability to put the student in focus and feel a strong commitment to the student group. To succeed, you are responsible as a person and can analyze and evaluate the work in relation to the students' and the school's goal fulfillment. You have the ability to see all students' different needs, take their individual prerequisites into account, and help all students grow.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

Certified teacher with broad qualifications to teach in grades 4-6. If you have qualifications and experience teaching English, it is an advantage.

You put the student in focus and feel a strong commitment to the student group. To succeed, you are responsible as a person and have a good ability to analyze and evaluate the work in relation to the students' and the school's goal fulfillment. You have the ability to see all students' different needs, take their individual prerequisites into account, and help all students grow.

As a person, you are a secure and clear leader who has the ability to create good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You are well acquainted with the school's steering documents and take responsibility for actively seeking knowledge and information. You are unpretentious and contribute to collegial learning.

You have good digital competence, as we handle information, documentation, and learning digitally as a natural part of the operations. You have experience and knowledge of the primary school's organization and steering documents.

We place great importance on your view on values and knowledge, and how this influences your approach as a teacher.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

We Offer

Permanent position starting August 11, 2026. The position is 100%.

In the absence of qualified applicants, it may become relevant to hire an unqualified teacher for a limited period according to the Education Act.
