Description

We are looking for a student assistant for Dotteviksskolan, a school for grades F-6 with an associated after-school center. We have approximately 200 students, and the school is beautifully located by Kyrkviken, with walking distance to forests and nature.

Responsibilities

You will work as support for students, both individually and in groups, at Dotteviksskolan for grades 4-6. Your work involves planning and structuring the school day for individual students, as well as designing and working with extra adjustments and special support in collaboration with teachers. You provide pedagogical and social support to students throughout the school day. Together with the teaching staff, you prepare and adapt the school day based on each student's needs and prerequisites.

In addition to supporting individual students, you also serve as a pedagogical resource for larger student groups and collaborate with work teams both within the school and the after-school center.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated within the Child and Youth Program (Barn- och fritidsprogrammet) or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Documented knowledge within the NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) field and education in special pedagogy are meritorious. You have experience working with youth in need of special support. You have basic digital competence and good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.

As a person, you are stable, secure, structured, and solution-focused. You have a good ability to build good relationships, both with students, parents, and colleagues. We work closely in our work teams, and we are looking for someone with strong collaboration skills. Personal suitability is given great weight.

Conditions

The position is a fixed-term employment during the school year 2026-2027, with a possible opportunity for extension.
