About Us

The Dermatology Clinic in Simrishamn launched in the summer of 2025 and is a growing practice with excellent opportunities to help develop the clinic further. Today, the team consists of dermatologists and nurses in a small, family-like operation where collaboration, independence, and high medical quality are in focus.

The clinic is located at the hospital in Simrishamn, in the heart of Österlen, with close proximity to both the sea and nature. Here you work in a calm environment with short decision-making paths and close contact with colleagues and patients. There is plenty of free parking, and the train station is located approximately 800 meters from the hospital.

Your Role

We are now looking for more dermatologists for our clinic due to an increasing patient need. Here you will have an independent and varied job where you work closely with nurses and other colleagues in the team.

The work consists of standard dermatological outpatient activities. Among other things, you will:

  • assess and treat skin diseases
  • investigate skin changes
  • take skin biopsies
  • remove minor skin changes and malignancies that do not require anesthesia

Appointments are handled by a booking group, which creates good structure in daily life and provides the opportunity to focus on patient care. You always work together with a nurse.

We are primarily looking for someone who can work on a recurring basis, for example one week per month, with the possibility of expansion in the future. Working hours are weekdays 08:00–17:00 with a one-hour lunch break. The medical record system we use is Melior.

What We Offer

Here you have the opportunity to work in a smaller operation where you become an important part of the team and have great opportunities to influence working methods and development.

We offer:

  • A calm and pleasant work environment
  • Close collaboration with engaged colleagues
  • A high degree of independence and flexibility
  • Free parking directly connected to the hospital
  • A workplace with short decision-making paths and a family feel

For those who commute or work periodically, we are happy to help find accommodation solutions.

About You

We are looking for you who are a specialist physician in dermatology with Swedish licensure.

  • are confident in your professional role and accustomed to working independently
  • take responsibility for your patients and your work
  • appreciate working in a smaller operation with close collaboration
  • have good communication skills and a professional approach

Experience of outpatient work within dermatology and minor surgical procedures is required. Experience with the Melior medical record system is an advantage.

Application

Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the last application date. The advertisement may therefore be removed earlier than planned, so do not wait – submit your application today.

In connection with employment, a background check and extract from the criminal record register may be requested.

We look forward to hearing from you!
