About the Operation

The primary school/adjusted primary school operation is part of the Education Administration. The operation comprises 21 primary schools as well as adjusted primary school, and the total number of students is approx. 4,500. Four of the primary schools are upper secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6 (preschool class to grade 6). The operation also includes after-school centers.

About Fågelsta School

Fågelsta School is a rural school south of Motala, located in the hub between Motala, Vadstena, and Skänninge. Fågelsta School is a smaller F–6 school with approx. 100 students, where a family-like atmosphere characterizes the operation. The close contact between students and staff creates a safe and pleasant environment for learning.

We have a common craft day on Fridays, when wood and metal crafts are scheduled in parallel with textile crafts, which creates good opportunities for collaboration between the subjects.

About the Position

Responsibilities

Teaching in textile crafts in grades 3-6, with responsibility for planning, implementation, and follow-up according to the curriculum. You stimulate students' creativity and are responsible for assessment, documentation, as well as a safe and inspiring learning environment. The role also includes responsibility for materials and safety, as well as collaboration with colleagues.

The position is 20% and is primarily scheduled for Fridays.

Qualifications

• Education: Certified primary school teacher with eligibility to teach textile crafts.
• Language: You must be able to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.

Employment Terms

• Type of employment: Permanent position.
• Working hours: One day per week, preferably Fridays.
