Malmö Friskola is looking for an SVA Teacher for Grades 1–6!

We are looking for an engaged and relationship-building teacher in Swedish as a Second Language (SVA) for grades 1–6 who wants to help create the best conditions for our students' language and knowledge development.

Here, you will have the opportunity to work in an inclusive and development-oriented school environment where student learning is at the center. You will become an important part of the team and collaborate closely with colleagues, student health services, and guardians.

Responsibilities

As an SVA teacher, you will:

• plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching in Swedish as a Second Language for students in grades 1–6
• work on language and knowledge development in close collaboration with class teachers
• assess and monitor students' language development
• adapt teaching based on students' needs and prerequisites
• contribute to the school's pedagogical development work
• create a safe, structured, and inspiring learning environment

We are looking for you who:

• are a certified teacher with qualifications in Swedish as a Second Language for grades 1–6
• have good knowledge of language-developing working methods
• are confident in using digital tools in teaching
• have good collaboration skills and build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
• work in a structured and solution-focused manner
