Job Responsibilities

During night shifts at Vega, you will perform various planned resident interventions and other operational tasks according to the expectations document for night workers, as well as respond to safety, movement, and deviation alarms throughout the entire shift.

We are looking for you who want to be part of our work group at Vega Special Housing, where you will work with our residents who have special care and support needs.

With us, commitment, professional interaction, and structured work methods are what drive our operations forward.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues on day and evening shifts, as well as with coordinators, geragogues, and our nurses.

As a night nurse, your duties include, among other things, providing care, continuous supervision, creating security, following action plans, and breaking night fasting based on the resident's individual needs and wishes.

The work requires medical nursing care after delegation by a nurse. Documentation in the journal system is also part of the job.

We work with activity planning, which is a signing tool on mobile devices for all interventions to be performed for residents or the operation. You will be involved and have influence over how the night work planning is scheduled during team time with your unit.

We are one house and work in teams with all work crews and are each other's work environment. Therefore, we have joint APT (work environment meetings), team meetings, and scheduled training during the day.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as a nurse assistant with a protected title from the National Board of Health and Welfare. This is a requirement. Furthermore, we are looking for you who are accustomed to receiving delegation of various HSL tasks (medication administration, insulin, etc.).

You are quality and service-oriented and have experience handling medical technical equipment. You are good at collaborating, flexible, and have an open mind. In your work, you are engaged, unpretentious, brave, and feel secure working alone on a ward. You want to help colleagues beyond boundaries when needed and are accustomed to collaborating with other professions and relatives.

If you are close to laughter and like trying new paths, then you are exactly who we are looking for. Experience from work in elderly care is meritorious.

You must be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Good computer skills and the ability to work with different systems and digital tools are necessary in daily work. We work with national quality registers and would appreciate if you have knowledge of these.
