Welcome to apply for the position of School Resource at Mossleskolan.

Mossleskolan is a preschool class to grade 3 school located in the western part of Värnamo town, with approximately 265 students. Our expectation and driving force is that all students want, can, and should succeed!

The school is characterized by a pleasant and welcoming work climate where collaboration is central to student learning. Mossleskolan has an active student health team located at the school, which includes a counselor, school nurse, special needs pedagogue, special needs teacher, deputy principal, and principal, with access to a school speech therapist and school psychologist.

Responsibilities

You will, in close collaboration with teachers in school and after-school care, be responsible for providing more targeted support at the individual and group level based on students' individual needs. Your main task is to support students in social interaction and in teaching at school and in after-school care. Collaboration with other educators in several work teams and the students' guardians is an important part of the work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a childcare education and/or experience working with students in need of special support. You need to have an interest in working with students who face difficulties in various situations and possess knowledge on how to support students based on each student's prerequisites. You are calm and create security, as well as having great patience. You treat students in a low-affective way and have a good ability to build relationships with students. Flexibility and the ability to see solutions from different perspectives are important, as well as the ability to collaborate with students, colleagues, and guardians.
