Do you want a meaningful and varied job where you get to be an important part of a young person's daily life? We are now looking for a secure and proactive personal assistant for a cheerful and talkative teenage boy in Uppsala.

About the client:

The client is an outgoing and kind young man with a cognitive disability who needs support with his daily care. He enjoys finding things to do outside the home and thrives when fun activities take place during the day.

To help him express himself, his feelings, and his wishes, you as an assistant need to be attentive, patient, and give him the time he needs.

He has a feeding tube, and previous experience with tube feeding is an advantage – but most importantly, you must be confident, willing to learn, and have the right attitude.

Surrounding him are dedicated family members and a stable social network, which you will become a natural part of.

Responsibilities:

• Support with ADL (Activities of Daily Living) and personal care
• Create structure and security in daily life
• Accompany on activities outside the home
• Be a social and present support
• Tube feeding (experience is an advantage, but not a requirement)

Working hours and employment:
